Week of 6/21/2010

After talking with friends that traveled the eastern side of the Sierra, I chose two images from Mono Lake for this weeks images. They were telling me about how amazing the wildflowers, birding and the Mono Craters were. I continue to be so grateful that I live in Northern Nevada and can travel Hwy 395 almost at random on a normal year. This image was shot during sunrise at the South Tufa. Image two was shot at the South Tufa as well in late afternoon with some nice side light from the west.
