Photo for the Week of 8/30/2010

This weeks image was shot last weekend while on my first big trip for this year. Our plan was to go over Taboose Pass and make camp on the west side of the crest. The wind was blowing hard and brought in clouds that were threatning rain and possibly snow. The evening lit up with some nice clouds and God beams. We had great color that evening and the next morning before heading down the pass to the starting point trailhead in Owens Valley.
